Taking classes, attending events, and working in campus jobs and internships tagged with the competencies will help you develop the knowledge and skills employers and graduate schools value! Course Tags
Undergraduate courses are tagged with up to three competency tags to highlight the knowledge and skills students can expect to gain. Course tags are searchable in class search, schedule builder, and appear in the course catalog. Watch the video to learn more!
RSO Event Tags
On ‘Cuse Activities, Registered Student Organizations (RSO) leaders can tag events based on which of the six competencies attendees will gain from the event. Tagging events highlights the transferable skills students will learn at the event.
Tagging events also qualifies RSOs to apply for supplemental funding to support organization events and operations. Apply today using the Shared Competencies Funding Request Form under the ‘Cuse Activities Forms. The deadline to apply is December 13th and funds will be distributed in January 2025.

On-Campus Job Tags
